OUR MISSION AND VALUES
Our mission at the Throop Church of God is to share the love of God and spread the news of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. We seek to bring healing to the home by building strong marriages, strengthening the family unit, and raising Godly children.
Are you struggling in your marriage? Have you lost hope for you and your spouse? Are your children suffering from the disconnect in the home? Here at the Throop Church of God we understand the importance of building strong marriages, and overcoming the many struggles relationships face today.
Our Church is real...real people...a real message...a real God that touches down and helps us out of our real messes. Here at the Throop Church of God we understand the many pressures that families face today living in today's culture, and we believe in strengthening the family unit through prayer, Biblical teaching, and Godly fellowship.
Our children are our posterity, and will greatly impact future generations for Christ. Here at the Throop Church of God we value the relationships between generations, and understand the importance of staying connected with our young people. We look to do this through teachings, events, and mentorship programs within the Church.
THE LAST STOP
For years members of our Church have referred to ourselves as the Last Stop. Many of us first walked through the doors of the Church with nowhere else to turn. We were hurt, broken, and searching for answers. Our slogan where healing begins, embodies how we truly feel. In February of 2019 Pastor Colombo announced Last Stop Ministries, a non for profit running under the direction of the church, as an outreach ministry of the church dedicated to helping and encouraging people in our church and community. Last Stop Ministries is a four fold visionary effort to encourage retirees, teach God’s Word in a deeper way, minister to marriages and families, and one of the most significant needs in our community helping people overcome addiction.
